Community Groups
// The main way we plan to make, train, and send disciples who make disciples is through our Community Groups. These groups are the core of our church. Our weekend gatherings can only do so much. Community Groups provide the opportunity for the church to actually be the church.
Our desire is not that everyone would know everyone on the surface. Our pursuit is to be a church where we truly know one another deeply. Our groups are the place where people can experience life with other believers and build deep relationships with one another.
Most of our groups share a meal together. Afterward, there is a time of Gospel conversation that varies from week to week. Most of the discussion is centered around the sermon that was preached that week. Lastly, the groups end in prayer for one another, for our church, and for our city.
If you want more information about group locations and times, visit the Connect Desk on Sunday morning or email info@redemptiontx.org.
Student Ministries
// Red Student Ministries aims to come along side parents to help students grow in their faith. We want our teenage students to love, worship, and enjoy God by knowing him deeply and serving him.
We do this in two main ways. The first is by meeting the first and third Sunday of each month from 5:30-7:30PM at the church. All students grades 6th-12th are invited to participate. We eat, worship, learn, and play games together.
The second way we encourage our students to mature in their faith is to be involved in the rest of the church. We do not want to separate our students from the rest of the church. We want to incorporate them into the life of the church. We encourage students to be a part of a Community Group throughout the week and to serve in the church by volunteering in Redemption Kids, playing in the praise bands, helping with audio/visual, going on foreign mission trips, and more.
Kids Ministries
// We want the children of Redemption Church to have a deeply rooted confidence in the character of God so they passionately follow Him through good and bad times. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by providing environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel and teach the nature and character of God. We do this by focusing and reiterating four core truths about God. These four truths are: 1) God is wise and knows what is best, 2) God is generous and gives what is best, 3) God is loving and does what is best, and 4) God is good and is what is best.
Redemption Kids is for children 4 years old through 5th grade. On Sunday mornings, they will experience worship music and Bible lessons targeted at their age group. These lessons will then be reiterated in activities, crafts, and games. Each week your child will take home a Family Follow-Up worksheet that will aid the family in having Gospel-centered conversation in the home.
